Finally, we know when the "Harry Potter" film franchise will reach it's end.

Warner Bros. will open the eighth film, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, "on July 15, 2011.

"Deathly Hallows: Part I" is set to release Nov. 19,  2010. The studio decided to split the seventh and final book in the Potter series into two movies because of the length.

The sixth movie (based on the sixth book) in the series, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" is to be released on  July 17, 2009.

The previous five films have sold-out many theatres, and received a great amount of attention, due in part to the fan-following of the books.
