Joan Price has a strong background in alternative media production beginning in 1973 in Colorado after earning a Master in Fine Arts at the University of California in Santa Barbara. In 1980, Joan moved to Santa Fe and worked with Video Southwest for 14 years. She moved to southern New Mexico and has covered a wide range of issues, particularly the arts, history, archaeology, environment and sustainability, for the Alamogordo Daily News since 2004. Joan wants to put a face on what is happening in southern New Mexico for readers in the north. Contact Joan.
