Say goodbye to tin-can molded cranberry sauce!  Even if you hate cranberry sauce, you will be a fan of this version.

This recipe is part of the LAST-MINUTE HOLIDAY GAMEPLAN, giving you tips on planning, shopping for, and preparing your own Holiday Dinner in less than a day, under $100!

INGREDIENTS
24 oz. Fresh Cranberries
2 cups of Cabernet Sauvingnon
2 cups of White Granulated Sugar
1 tbl Orange or Tangerine rind
Cinnamon

Combine all ingredients into a saucepan, and stir.  Lightly sprinky cinnamon over the surface, perhaps 3 shakes into it.  When the mixture comes into a full boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the cranberries become a deep burgundy translucent color, and the liquid is of desired consistency.

MAKING SMALL TALK
Joke about how many Thanksgivings you have had to endure nasty canned cranberry sauce, and praise this version giving credit to the wine.
