The tenth annual Connecticut Veterans Day parade will take place on Sunday, November 8 at 1pm in the streets of downtown Hartford. With over 4,000 marchers and spectators in the tens of thousands, this parade is one of the biggest Veterans Day Parades in New England.

The parade will feature a special salute to the veterans who served during the Vietnam War, forty veteran groups, twenty-five bands, and a moment of silence as well as flyovers by military aircraft. Before the start of the parade, a special wreath laying ceremony will take place at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch (located near Bushnell park).

The route of the parade is posted here. The start will be at the intersection of Buckingham and Washington Street; working its way along Trinity Street, Ford Street, Asylum Street, Main Street, and concluding on Capital Avenue.

The CT Veterans Day Parade is a perfect opportunity to show support for the brave men and women who serve our country!
