Covering backpacking essentials, dressing for success on the trail and how to choose comfortable footwear REI’s experts will give you all the needed tools for a safe trip into the backcountry.

The Backpacking 101 clinic, starting at 7 pm, is a perfect opportunity to demystify the overwhelming choices in backpacking gear.
