The world is home to hundreds of incredibly beautiful cities that most would give anything to be ab
le to celebrate the coming of the new year at just one of them. The top three that I have come up with are no exception.
First, the French know how to celebrate New Year's like no one else. Paris is home to some of the most stunning architecture in the world. The Louvre and the Eiffel Tower attract tourists from all over the world, year round. Nothing changes on the night of December 31st. Thousands gather to celebrate together in The City of Love each year. If you are looking for an experience of a life time, pla
n a vacation to Paris for this time of year!
Second, Zurich Switzerland is one of the most beautiful places in the world, on any given day of the week, the experience of New Year's Eve is one to behold. Take in the sites of the area during the day, but when the night of December 31 comes around, get ready to party with the some 200,000 people that gather to bring in the new year. A magnificent fireworks display with light up the midnight sky as you enjoy beverages and foods from around the world.
Finally, Times Square in New York City puts on a New Year's Eve show that is second to none. Most of us grew up watching "the ball" drop with the countdown being led
by some famous individual. We loved, at least I did, staying up late and watching the event live on television. Being there yourself when the countdown begins is something every American should experience at least once in their life time. With some of the best food and drinks in the world within walking distance of Times Square, you would not be disappointed spending the eve of the new year in New York City!
Happy New Year to everyone! Be safe and bring in the new year right!
