I found out about this contest, which was launched by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) on October 7th, from the CES blog. 

If you are a software developer and would like to win a trip to the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January or other prizes you may want to enter this contest.

There are two categories for apps in this contest.  They are:

- Apps that illuminate with data how innovation and entrepreneurial activity are at work across America.

- Apps that will help the members of the Innovation Movement advance policy goals that support innovation.
