I am definitely looking forward to seeing this movie when it comes out!  Unfortunately it will not hit the theaters until November 13, so I will just have to wait a little while.

If you are also looking forward to seeing this animated film, which looks absolutely hilarious, you may want to check out a couple of websites.  One is the official website and the other is the website on Fox Searchlight Pictures.  Both have their own unique qualities that are worth looking at.

Both of the websites have featurettes/behind-the-scenes videos.  It is absolutely extraordinary what goes into making a film like this.  Such as it taking 24 shots to film 1 second, hand-making all of the characters and it taking all day to film 30 seconds of the movie.  The hard work that was put into this definitely is shining through in the trailers!

Some things exclusive to the official website: meet the characters, get downloads of icons and wallpaper of the different characters, and soon you will be able to get the iPhone app and play some games called Whackbat  and Dig Deeper.  It also have both trailers.

Some things exclusive to Fox Searchlight Picture's website: learn more about Roald Dahl by viewing different websites and see some of Wes Anderson's filmography on YouTube.  Also read about Fantastic Mr. Fox  in the In The News section.

So are the voices behind the characters?  They are: George Clooney (Mr. Fox), Meryl Streep (Mrs. Fox), Jason Schwartzman (Ash), Bill Murray (Badger), Willem Dafoe (Rat) and Owen Wilson (Coach Skip).

I had never read or even heard of this book before, but definitely want to check it out now!  Have you read the book?  What did you think?  Are you looking forward to seeing this movie?  Comment below!
