According to Variety.com, IFC has purchased rights to the complete series of 'Arrested Development', the cult favorite TV show that aired on FOX from 2003-2006. The show, starring Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Portia de Rossi, Tony Hale, Jessica Walter, David Cross, Alia Shawkat, and Jeffrey Tambor, revolves around an extremely dysfunctional family that must come together and help each other after the crooked patriarch ends up in jail.

Since the show was canceled, rumors have swirled of a feature film adaptation. Most of the original cast has expressed interest in participating, and several cast members, including Jason Bateman, have hinted that the film is close to getting started.
