Many of the mom's in Hollywood are under tremendous pressure to quickly lose weight and get their pre-baby body back and many resort to starvation diets and hard core work out regimens. In an environment were looks are everything many A-list stars have admitted to also trying to turn back the clock with Botox injections in order to compete for jobs. Such famous mom's include Brooke Shields, Courtney Cox Arquette, Jennie Garth and Jenny McCarthy to name a few. While some of them just claimed to have tried it once others like Jennie Mccarthy say that she goes every two months just for a little dose in the forehead.
Their are so many celebrities out their who feel its taboo to talk about plastic surgery or any help that they might get from procedures such as Botox and while I commend these woman for being honest it still puts a lot of unrealistic standards for mom's to hold themselves to. Most woman in America can't go for quarterly botox injections for facial rejuvenation, with the cost being around $400 per treatment, that doesn't mean they shouldn't it just means at least be honest about it. Don't tell woman to get rest, stay out of the sun and recommend a $150 moisturizer as typically done when asked how they stay so youthful. As for the stars in Hollywood who try to make us beleive they wake up every morning after working and raising kids looking like they stepped out of Vogue...give it up your not fooling anyone!
Celebrity doctors in LA and NY estimate that 75% of stars over the age of 35 get Botox injections. With the demand for Botox being this high other drug makers have jumped on the trend making their own wrinkle erasers as well. This being said its just a matter of time before if becomes a more affordable and regular beauty regiment accross america for thoses of us who want to stay looking as young as our favorite celebrity mom's.
