Brad Pitt is trying to explain what happened when he hooked up with Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith (which Jolie revealed last month) in an effort to not make his partner and the mother of his seven children look like a home wrecker.
Pitt tells W magazine he was "still filming after Jen and I split up. Even then it doesn't mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn't. I'm very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful."
Despite Aniston's recent comment to Vogue in which she called Jolie "really uncool" for claiming she couldn't wait to go to work with the married actor on Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Pitt tells the February issue of W magazine. "Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there's a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It's so created."
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button star, 45, also says of Aniston, "We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don't see how there cannot be that. That's life, man. That's life."
Someone needs to tell Jolie to put a muzzle on it if you don't want the cat fight comments going back and forth, I think Brad is enjoying two beautiful and successful woman trading sly remarks because of him. Like Jennifer Aniston said a long time ago, "There is a sensitivity chip missing"
With now raising three girls (and four boys) both parents should look at the reponsibility of setting moral examples for their daughters, plotting to steal someone's husband is not a good one.
