
It's the official kick of the award show season, the nominations for the Golden Globes was announced today and Brangelina scored big with matching nominations. Jolie was nominated for her role in Changeling directed by Clint Eastwood about a mother who's son disappears in 1928 in Los Angeles and is found a few months later by police-or so they think. When asked about the nomination Jolie said " What an amazing experience getting to work with Clint Eastwood on a film I care so deeply about." Jolie was also jsut named the highest paid actress by the Hollywood Reporter special edition of the power 100 females. The mother of six children, Maddox 7, Pax 6, Zahara, 4, Shiloh 2, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 4 months, show working mom's everywhere that you can have your cake and eat it to. Her partner Brad Pitt scored a Golden Globe nod for his role,The Curious Case of Benjamin Button opposite Cate Blanchet. This original story tells the life of a man who ages in reverse while everyone around him progresses in age in a normal fashion. Brad was quoted as saying, "Were all proud of the film and thankful to the Hollywood Foreign Press for recognizing our work."
Pitt and Jolie are an inspiration to working parents everywhere, they make it work, from there killer movies at the box office, to their charity work around the world and not to mention the toughest job of all raising six children they seem to do it all as a team with style and grace.
In the constant fashion of stealing each other's thunder, Pitt's ex Jennifer Aniston made her own headlines today with her nearly naked photo shoot for GQ Magazine. In the provocative photo Jenn wears a necktie and a smile. In the interview portion she makes fun of her recent comments about how it was "uncool" of Angelina to talk about falling in love with her then husband, Brad Pitt, on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith by saying "The funny thing is people don't realize we all go away to the Hamptons on weekens, "That 'd be hysterical, Ive got Zahara on my hip and Knox."
