Portland Karaoke lovers can rejoice. Portland has an excitng new option for karaoke: Voicebox.
Located just around the corner from Cinema 21, Voicebox provides a unique environment for you to belt out a tune. Rather than being a huge karaoke bar, Voicebox has six private rooms ranging in size from 4 to 24 people.
Equipt with high end systems (including flat screen samsung monitors and Yamaha speakers) you won't find a better sounding karaoke experience in town.
Rates start at $7 per person, per hour and some of the larger rooms have a minimum number of people you need to rent them.
The rooms all circle a bar which serves beer, wine and sake. The bar also features some fantastic large format work from The Pander Brothers.
The most impressive element of Voicebox is just how many songs you can sing in an hour. I'm used to going to a karaoke bar and waiting hours to sing couple of songs. I sang more songs at Voicbox in one hour than I've probably sang at all other karaoke bars combined.
