Now that we’re heading into the spring season with much anticipated warmer weather, you may be looking for various outdoor activities to do in and around Charlotte. One such activity is to take a walking tour of center city Charlotte.
The Levine Museum of the New South offers two different walking tours – one of Uptown Charlotte, and another of Fourth Ward – each lasting one hour.
The Museum describes the Uptown tour as follows: “The Square has been the center of activity in Charlotte from the colonial era to the present. Explore the history of Charlotte’s center city through its architecture and urban landscape.”
For the Fourth Ward tour, the Museum states: “Discover this historic and diverse neighborhood in uptown Charlotte with its mix of Victorian gems, relocated landmarks and new additions.”
Each tour lasts one hour and can include up to 25 people. To book a tour, call the Museum at (704) 333-1887 or email tours (at) museumofthenewsouth.org.
