The Tennessee Titans won their third game in a row Sunday as they routed the emotionless Buffalo Bills 41-17. The leagues worst rushing defense was on display Sunday as the Titans ran for 168 yards behind Chris Johnson's 232 total yards and two touchdowns. Tennessee will now move to 3-6 on the year, after starting the season 0-6, while Buffalo falls to 3-6 on the season.

Titans quarterback Vince Young controlled the game effectively throwing for 210 yards and a touchdown, while minimizing his mistakes without allowing a sack. Young managed to shake off his only miscue of the day, a interception tossed to Bills rookie cornerback Jairus Byrd, who leads the NFL in interceptions with eight on the year. VY threw and ran for key first downs, putting the Titans in primed position all day.

The contest was tied at 17 going into the fourth quarter when the Titans blew the game open scoring 24 unanswered  points, including two touchdowns off interception returns. Vincent Fuller, who recently returned to the lineup from injury, and Rod Hood both returned their picks for scores. Hood has now recorded an interception in three consecutive games.

Beyond leading the league in rushing with 1091 yards Johnson also leads the NFL is total yards from scrimmage with 1353.  In the past three games CJ has accounted for 631 totals yards and six touchdowns. Johnson has now rushed for over 100 yards in four consecutive games marking the first time a Titans back has accomplished that feat since Oilers/Titans great Eddie George pushed the streak to five.

Titans rookie wideout Kenny Britt had 55 yards receiving on two catches for the day, bringing him to 351 on the year. Former Steeler Nate Washington added 33 yards and a score on two receptions bringing his total to five touchdowns on the season. Tennessee is starting the see the production they had hoped when signing Washington this off-season from Pittsburgh.

The Titan defense looked spectacular for the third week in a row as they sacked Trent Edwards twice and forced two picks. Tennessee held Buffalo under 100 yards rushing as they finished with 89 on the day. After allowing five 300 yard passers in the start of the season, Tennessee has settled in nicely as they have held their opponents under 300 yards passing in each of these three consecutive wins.
