Hot ring--dirty hand?
New York's No. 1 source for firsthand third-party probably at least half-accurate celeb sightings has some dirty dirt on one of my fave SUV-lovin' twinnies. It seems that Ashley Olsen passed on the soap and water after using the restrooms at Regal Cinema in Union Square. The oft described "more serious" half of MK&A was at the downtown theater for a screening of Revolutionary Road when the alleged crime of cleanliness went down.
I gotta defend Ash on her grimy mishap. I too have visited the ladies' room at Regal U-Sq, and like most public lavatories, it's not a pretty sight—one might actually avoid germs by not stopping to wash and dry. I'd prefer to skip the communal sink all together and instead use my handy dandy travel bottle of Purell, but I always hesitate to do this because it involves stopping in the middle of the habitually crowded restroom and making a scene of the fact that I am indeed sanitizing my hands and not just walking out without washing, lest someone start a nasty internet rumor about me and my lacking hygiene.
That being said, I feel you Ash! And I see a waterless hand sanitizer endorsement deal in your future. You know, just in case you ever need some extra cha-cha-ching for gas money.
