The Hands That Grace
Are you a shopper that buys clothing based not only the look, but also on the feel? Have a love affair with silks and fine Egyptian cottons? Do high thread counts get your heart all a flutter? Well when it comes to exploring the physical realms, I always recommend touching as much of it as you can.
Be it grains of sand as they run through your fingers, or touching the spikes on the back of a horned lizard the more you do the more you open yourself up. By focusing on touch you are training a different part of your brain. Touch adds another dimension to the overall experience, enriching it and all your other journeys in the future as well.

The Scent of the Rose
One of the most memorable experiences of my life took place during my stay in Florence for University. In my wanderings through the city, I chanced to stumble upon the historical open-air market of San Lorenzo.
Stepping into the maze of stalls I was struck by a wave of aromas coming from all around the market. From the sweet tang of roses clinging to the cathedral walls, to that musky spicy smell wafting from the hand-made leather goods. Closing my eyes, sinking into the experience, I zenned out to the vastly different scents coming my way.
That pleasurable moment has been with me ever since, and in new place I visit I love to just close my eyes and breath in its essence, becoming part of the place for just a moment.
