Ever want to see a male Miss America? Love to play in the snow? Here’s your chance with the first ever Mr.Gay World, an Equal Right Competition held in snowy Whistler, B.C.

Mr.Gay World –

The 1st annual Mr.Gay World helps bring awareness to the struggle for Equal Rights in a festive environment that celebrates the diversity and inclusiveness of the worldwide gay community.

Starting out with 1,500 men all competing for the title of Mr.Gay World, this years theme of ‘Around the World in Eight Days’ does a wonderful job of showcasing the vast ethnic backgrounds of all those involved, and sends out a clear message that the struggle for Equal Rights knows no borders, or ethnic divisions.

February 7th will mark the conclusion of the Mr.Gay World competition with its grand finale. 24 finalists will have to demonstrate to the much needs skills of leadership, intelligence, and most importantly charisma to prove they have what it takes to be an ambassador for the Gay Community.

Mr.Gay World is just part of the much larger and well known WinterPride festival, an 8 winter celebration. Some of your San Diego Gay Travel Examiner’s favorite events within the festival include its culinary workshops, après ski events, not to mention their infamously fabulous theme parties.
