Complete Game Stats

1. QB Nick Foles (So. RS)

Passing: 30/46, 314 yards, 4 TDs, INT

Foles had a career high in touchdowns (4) and longest completion (71 yards). Foles threw for 300 yards or more for the third time this season. With Rose Bowl hoops now gone, it will be interesting to see if the young quarterback finishes the season strong or packs it in early, potentially setting him back to begin next season.

2. WR Juron Criner (So.)

Receiving: 5 catches, 93 yards, 3 TDs

Crier was clutch all night. He kept Arizona in the game early pulling in a five yard strike to give the Wildcats a 7-14 fighting chance. Most of his 93 yards came on a 71 yard bubble screen to put the Wildcats up 31-24 with seven minutes left in the game. If that wasn’t enough, his third touch came in overtime to keep Arizona tied 38-38.

3. RB Greg Nwoko (Fr.)

Rushing: 16 carries, 58 yards
Receiving: 3 catches, 39 yards

All the game action Nwoko has seen this year due to injuries at the running back position will benefit him tremendously in the future, even if he still has another year behind junior Nic Grigsby (Jr.) and sophomore Keola Antolin.

Nwoko continues to show his versatile, hauling in three passes for 39 yards yards. He has 13 grabs this season for 153 yards. His size and ability to do it all will allow the Wildcats to be able to focus recruiting efforts elsewhere, which is always an advantage.

4. CB Devin Ross (Sr.)

11 tackles (9 solo, 2 asst), 2 pass def

Lead the team in tackles. He is second on the team this season in tackles with 59. With his physical play and nose for the football, Ross is NFL ready. The finally three games of the season can make or break his draft stock.

5. K Alex Zendejas (So.)

2/3 FGs (47, 41 made, 24 missed)

Zendejas has converted on 15 of 19 field goal attempts in his first year as Wildcats’ kicker. The Wildcats showed faith in their young kicker by marching him out not once but twice for field goals over 40 yards. His previous career long was 37 yards.

Zendejas showed big-time poise hitting at end of half and in over time. Although if he’d of hit all three attempts the Wildcats would be smelling roses. Still he has progressed nicely from the inconsistent early season kicker that had people asking about his back up.
