Single Mom Sandy Gerber has been nominated for the SavvyMom Mom Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Gerber is a single mom from North Vancouver, Canada who quit her job with BC Lotteries in 2004 to be able to be home with her kids while running her own consulting company, 3 Kids Media. 3 Kids Media later merged with Twist Multimedia, and became 3 Degrees West.
Says Gerber:
Most of the most rewarding mom entrepreneur moments for me have come at unique moments...being present mid morning when my daughter flirted at school for the first time, practicing my workshop introduction with my kids as my pretend audience, picking up kids from school after a new client meeting, seeing my business card in my son's Spiderman backpack and so many more. The true reward is seeing the pride in my kids eyes, the way I look at my own entrepreneur mom!
