Atlanta Falcons offensive tackle Tyson Clabo signed his restricted free agent tender on Wednesday.
The 27-year old, six-year veteran lineman started all 16 games in the 2008 season at right tackle for the Falcons. 2009 will be Clabo's fourth with Atlanta, the team for which he's started 37 games at a variety of positions on the offensive line.
The Wake Forest product was part of the line that finished second in the NFL with 152.7 yards rushing per game. He and his offensive linemates set a franchise record allowing a season-low 17 sacks of rookie quarterback Matt Ryan.
Atlanta also added undrafted free agent Bradon Godfrey to the receiver corps.
The 6'3", 197 pound receiver from University of Utah had 56 receptions for 556 yards and four touchdowns during his senior season in 2008. In his career at Utah he caught 128 passes for 1,440 yards and eight touchdowns in 36 games.
In Utah's 2009 Sugar Bowl victory over No. 4 Alabama, Godfrey had six catches for 75 yards and one touchdown.
He spent the 2004 season at Southern Utah University where he was named the Great West Freshman of the Year.
The Falcons also released linebacker Brock Christopher. He was a teammate at Missouri with Atlanta's second-round draft pick, safety William Moore. He was signed as an undrafted free agent on April 27, 2009.
