With offseason OTAs drawing to a close on Thursday, the Atlanta Falcons whetted their fans appetites by releasing the 2009 training camp schedule, sponsored by Russell.

2009's will be the Falcons' 44th training camp and its fifth consecutive year at the team headquarters in Flowery Branch, Georgia.

In all, Atlanta will conduct 28 practices leading up to the regular season, including 12 two-a-day sessions, many of which will be open to the public.

The preseason game schedule includes trips to Detroit and St. Louis on August 15 and 21. Atlanta's two preseason home games will be against the San Diego Chargers and the Baltimore Ravens on August 29 and September 3.

This event will include a team scrimmage at Brookwood High School on August 7 and a mock game at the Georgia Dome on August 8.
