Jon Bon Jovi made a brief appearance on the Today Show this morning to debut his new video and make an announcement. He has been chosen as the first "Artist in Residence" in NBC's new Artist in Residency program.
What does this all mean. Bon Jovi explained to Matt Lauer and the audience that for the months of November and December he will not only be a semi-regular fixture on The Today Show, but will appear on The Actor's Studio, NBC news, broadcast TV and sports.
Jon will also be promoting Bon Jovi's new album coming out next month. They just released a brand new video of their new song "We Weren't Born To Follow" and it was aired on The Today Show this morning. Jon said that this song is about it being a year now since the huge financial troubles and layoffs began and now it is time to dare to be different and pick ourselves up by our bootstraps.
