Putting down the mic for a bit, Detroit-bred rapper, Eminem is preparing to star in a new 3-D horror film. The last time we saw Marshall Mathers on the big screen was when he starred in 2002's 8 Mile, a film that was loosely based on his life. This time he's channeling some of the twisted, macbre lyrics we all know he's capable of and entering the horror genre.
The tentative title for the flick is Shady Talez and is set to be along the lines of Creepshow and The Twilight Zone. Producers John Davis and Dallas Jackson have signed on to collaborate on the project.
Prior to releasing Relapse this past May, Eminem had fallen out of the limelight these past few years while battling a drug addiction that he admitted he almost died from.
Comic books based on the film would also be released in 2010.
