I used to not use hand sanitizer. I had read that too much use of an anti-bacterial anything is a bad thing, because it reduces good bacteria, etc., and makes a person more prone to illness in the long run. That was before I began using Germ-X original hand sanitizer. I used to get every bug around even though I practice good to excellent hand washing. Cold weather was an awful for me. I used to miss a lot of work because of it. One of my friends told me that they had started using Germ-X original hand sanitizer, and made it through and entire cold and flu season without getting sick. I began using it routinely when at work (I work at a high school) and while out in public places about two years ago. Since that time, I have noticed a significant reduction of viral illness in myself. It is also great for germ-phob?
The label on Germ-X original states that it kills 99.99% of common germs within 15 seconds after contact. It comes in a variety of sizes too -- from little personal sizes that you can tote easily in a purse or brief case to huge sizes that are great for multiple users.
The only bad thing is that if you use it all of the time like I do, it can really dry out your hands. If you suffer from dry hands like I do, then you have to double-time the lotion to keep your hands from drying out and cracking.
