Arizona looks to ballot initiative to pass medical marijuana

The Arizona Marijuana Policy Project is currently gathering signatures for a ballot initiative for the 2010 election. As of July, the petition drive is going well with 30% of the votes needed gathered.

You can sign the petition at the following locations:

PHOENIX
Fair Trade Café
1020 N. 1st Ave. (Corner of Roosevelt Street and Central Avenue)
Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

TEMPE
Bunna Coffee
7520 S. Rural Road #A12 (Corner of Rural and Elliot roads)
Mondays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

TUCSON
Bentley's House of Coffee and Tea
1730 E. Speedway Blvd. (Speedway Boulevard just west of Campbell Avenue)
Thursdays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Please contact the MPP if you are interested in volunteering, or if you can collect signatures.
