For anyone who's ever wondered what it takes to craft truly great creative advertising, a new film called "Art & Copy" endeavors to find out.

Funded by advertising organization The One Club, the film sets out to tell the story of American ads through the lives of some of the industry's legendary creative forces – names like George Lois, Dan Wieden, and Lee Clow. In doing so, the creators hope to "identify the elements that transform an slogan into a pop culture catch phrases."

According to one of the producers, plans are underway for theatrical release later this year. In the meantime, the trailer is embedded below and there's more information at www.artandcopyfilm.com.
