Live TV broadcasts might not generally be thought of as things that are "designed," but a recent article in The Atlantic proves otherwise.

Writer Mark Bowden's piece, The Hardest Job in Football, goes into deep and fascinating detail about what it takes to make the other Sunday ritual come off. Tthe decision-making process, the camera angles, the storylines, the creativity and hard work -- it's all there.

It's great journalism, and if read with the right set of eyes it will completely alter the way you view not only football, but live televsision as a whole.
