The ringleaders of the Arizona Cardinals aerial circus will take their high-flying act to Hawaii for a February performance in the Pro Bowl. Quarterback Kurt Warner and receivers Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin were named Tuesday as starters on the NFC Pro Bowl squad. They’ll be joined in Honolulu for the Feb. 8 AFC-NFC Pro Bowl by their Cardinals teammates Adrian Wilson, who was selected to start at strong safety for the NFC, and Sean Morey, who was picked for his production on special teams. Warner has enjoyed a career renaissance this year at age 37. The two-time MVP, who led the St. Louis Rams to a Super Bowl victory during the 1999 season, entered training camp this summer hoping to get a fair shot to win the Cardinals’ starting quarterback job. Warner not only beat out Matt Leinart for the starting position, he has made the most of the opportunity, passing for 4,290 yards and 26 touchdowns while guiding the Cardinals (8-6) to the NFC West championship, their first division title in 33 years. The Pro Bowl selection is the fourth of Warner’s 11-year NFL career. Fitzgerald and Boldin each will be appearing in the Pro Bowl for the third time. Fitzgerald, a fifth-year pro from the University of Pittsburgh, has caught 88 passes for 1,200 yards and nine touchdowns on the season. Boldin, in his sixth year from Florida State, has 89 catches for 1,038 yards and 11 touchdowns. Wilson, voted to the Pro Bowl for the second time, has 67 tackles on the year to go with two interceptions. The eighth-year pro from North Carolina State also has forced two fumbles and collected two-and-a-half quarterback sacks. Morey, a wide receiver in his seventh season from Brown, has made 16 tackles on special teams. Cardinals linebacker Karlos Dansby and defensive tackle Darnell Dockett were selected as Pro Bowl alternates. Dansby has amassed 102 tackles, three sacks, two interceptions and a forced fumble. Dockett has 40 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble.
