Downtown Live in Raleigh, NC
The Bud Light Downtown Live is a series of free outdoor summer concerts in downtown Raleigh's Moore Square Park located at the corner of Blount and Martin Street. Gates open each participating Saturday at 2:00PM. These concerts feature some of the world's top recording artists and pull in over 70,000 music fans from all over the eastern seaboard. Downtown Live is provided through a joint partnership between the City of Raleigh Convention Center and the Raleigh-based Deep South Entertainment. This is the fifth series of the concert. It is a family friendly environment offering a free Kid's Zone at each show from 2:00PM - 7:00PM. Feel free to bring your strollers and diaper bags but leave your coolers and outside food at home. There is an assortment of beer, wine, soft drinks, hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecue, ice cream, and much more available for sale at the event. Also, leave all audio and video recorders and professional cameras behind. Unfortunately there are no pets allowed either.
Performers on Schedule:
- July 25 the main stage headliner will be The Charlie Daniels Band with Kennebec, Yarn, American Aquarium, Brent Jordan, Old Union, Lonnie Walker, and also The Swinging Johnsons playing on the Monster Energy second stage.
- August 8 Tonic and Marcy Playground will be the headliners with River City Ransom, Jensen Reed, th' Bullfrog, Kevin Wing, and Colourslide on the Monster Energy sponsored second stage.
- August 22 will feature Better Than Ezra on the main stage with Airiel Down, Adam Pitts,The Urban Sophisticates, Purple Schoolbus, 96 Rock Garage Band Winner along with The Balance rocking out on the Monster Energy Drink second stage.

Concerts are always free and start every Saturday at 2:00PM and last all day long, ending at 11:00PM! Downtown Live is a rain or shine event so don't worry about missing out on the fun because of a little rain! Between the main acts you can check out up and coming talented artist on the Monster Energy second stage. Come on out for the free concert, beautiful bartenders and cold beer. Downtown Live also features an arts and crafts market.
If you are interested in a little extra attention for only $35.00 you can purchase one of The Best Seats in the House. You will receive one complementary drink voucher, complementary food, a private cash bar and private bartender along with private restrooms, chairs and tables, a shade tent and a premium view.

Directions:
Moore Square is located at the corner of Blount & Martin Street in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Parking is available at several lots and parking decks around the area. Prices vary per lot but most are $5 or they charge by the hour There is also plenty of street parking in the surrounding area. To find parking decks, look for the green signs downtown.
From Chapel Hill: Merge onto I-40 E toward RALEIGH. Take the S SAUNDERS ST NORTH exit- EXIT 298B- toward RALEIGH/DOWNTOWN. Take S. SAUNDERS ST NORTH approximately 2.0 miles. Turn RIGHT onto W MORGAN ST. Turn RIGHT onto S BLOUNT ST. End at S Blount St & E Martin St.
From Downtown Durham: Merge onto NC-147 S toward AIRPORT/RALEIGH. Merge onto I-40 E via EXIT 5A on the LEFT toward RALEIGH/AIRPORT. Take the S SAUNDERS ST NORTH exit- EXIT 298B- toward RALEIGH/DOWNTOWN. Take S. SAUNDERS ST NORTH approximately 2.0 miles. Turn RIGHT onto W MORGAN ST. Turn RIGHT onto S BLOUNT ST. End at S Blount St & E Martin St.
From Greenville, NC: Take US-264 West. Merge onto US-64 W via the exit on the LEFT toward RALEIGH. US-64 W becomes NEW BERN AVE. NEW BERN AVE becomes E EDENTON ST. Turn LEFT onto N BLOUNT ST.
From Greenville, NC: Take US-264 West. Merge onto US-64 W via the exit on the LEFT toward RALEIGH. US-64 W becomes NEW BERN AVE. NEW BERN AVE becomes E EDENTON ST. Turn LEFT onto N BLOUNT ST.
From Fayetteville, NC Merge onto I-95 N. Merge onto I-40 W via EXIT 81 toward RALEIGH. Take the HAMMOND RD exit- EXIT 299- toward PERSON ST. Take the ramp toward PERSON ST/SHAW UNIV. Merge onto HAMMOND RD. HAMMOND RD becomes S PERSON ST. Turn LEFT onto E HARGETT ST. Turn LEFT onto S BLOUNT ST

Lodging:
If you are coming from out of town for the event Downtown Live has special arrangements with three hotels near the park.
- The Embassy Suites Raleigh Crabtree, which is just a couple of miles from the event. You may call 919-881-0000 or 1-800-EMBASSY and ask for the Downtown Live rate or you can book on line and enter the group/convention code DLP to receive the special Downtown Live
- Marriott City Center Hotel, which is about 7 blocks from Moore Square Park is your second choice. You may book here by going to the website and entering in the “Corporate Promotional Code” area “LRR,” to receive a discounted rate.
- Red Roof Inn on South Saunders Street, located approximately 2 miles from Moore Square Park is also available. Call 919.833.6005 and ask for them to book you a room with the “NOW” rate.
