Upon first appearances the Cat Dancer does not look like much, just a simple wire with some cardboard at the end. You will not feel that way once you see how your cats react to it. Constructed of spring steel wire and rolled cardboard, it is one of the most inexpensive and durable pet toys you will ever find. Way back in 1983, Cat Dancer became the first nationally marketed interactive cat toy. It is still the gold standard when it comes to feline fun. A flick of your finger is all it takes to make the Cat Dancer transform into a delicious insect for your kitty to chase.

Both of my cats absolutely adore this toy. They get excited as soon as they see it. Angel will perform flying leaps in the air, while Outta prefers to chase it while it is dragged across the floor. This toy would make a great gift for senior kitties who need to get more active. The YouTube video below is a hilarious example of what a crowd pleaser this toy is. Cat Dancer is available locally and Petsmart, Petco and most independent retailers. You can also order directly from the manufacturer.
