Fresh from the Twitterverse today was this proclamation from @Burberry:
http://ArtoftheTrench.com launches today - a living celebration of the trench coat and the people who wear it
Curious, I took the jump and discovered the latest creative endeavor of the esteemed house of Burberry...yes, indeed, an entire site dedicated to the celebration of Burberry's most famous product ever, the trench coat.

Art of the Trench is an interactive site filled with vibrant color photos of men, women, and children clad in Burberry trenches (of course), most of which were shot by street style photographer extraordinaire The Sartorialist/Scott Schuman. You can click on images you like, leave comments, find out who the subject and photographer are, or share a photo via Twitter or other social media networks. Whether you're a fan of photography or looking for new ways to wear a trench coat, the site is an enjoyable, light-hearted stop along the information superhighway.
If you're a Burberry trench owner/lover, you don't have to hope that serendipity one day puts you in front of Schuman's lens. You could also make Art of the Trench, as submissions are accepted by the general public. Check out Submit Your Trench to learn more.
