The Dallas Dog & Disc Club offer monthly playdates
and other organized events.

One of Dallas' more active dog clubs is The Dallas Dog & Disc Club.

On the second Saturday of every month the club gets together at Walnut Hill Park in Dallas at 9 a.m. In addition they give presentations and work with each other on issues such as training.

At December's play day the group hosted Bill McFarlin and "Star" from the TV show "Greatest American Dog."

If you're interested in learning more, or would like to bring your dog to the next play day, check out the club's well-organized Web site.

When joining the play day activities remember to bring plastic bags to pick up waste and remember to keep your dog in a kennel or on leash when they are not chasing discs.

A dog with a frisbee can entertain himself and others for hours. This group will help you perfect your dog's skills while having a great time.
