For my Ducati-philes, you have your own bike night with a geniune interest (if not support) from the factory itself.
Tonight, 10/19, from 6:30 - 10:00PM is Ducati Bike Night in Lafayette. (East Bay)
Specific location is an establishment called Pizza Antica, located at 3600 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette, CA 94549, see here:
The local organization of the event is being handled by Northern California Ducati Club. so contact them for more information. They say they'll let you attend even if you don't ride a Duc, for the obvious reason of beginning the recruitment process. I like their bold approach.
