In a weird case of life imitating art, Scott Seigel, the actor who portrayed Randy “The Ram” Robinson’s drug dealer in the movie “The Wrestler,” has been arrested for dealing drugs.

Seigel was arrested early in the morning on February 19 in upstate New York. He was arrested following a lengthy car chase and was charged with distribution of steroids and assaulting an officer. He led police through several areas of Westchester, New York and was finally apprehended in Eachchester after leaving his SUV and trying to run.

Sigel was found with over $100,000 in cash and 1,500 bottles of anabolic steroids split between two different houses. He was arraigned and is being held without bail. When he was denied bail he began to complain of chest pains and was taken to a local hospital.

According to an interview that Rourke gave on Jimmy Kimmel Live a few months ago, he and “Wrestler” director Darren Aronofsky found Seigel in a club and offered him the role despite him not having any previous acting experience.
