Equine cross-breeding terms may be enough to drive a person a little wonky. What is a zonkey?

A zonkey is a hybrid equine, which results from the mating of a zebra and a donkey. A zonkey may also be called a debra, donbra, donkra, zeass, zebadonk, zebrass, zebrinny, zebroid, zebronkey, zebrula, zeedonk or zenkey.

Zonkeys are generally considered to be rare, and they are always infertile.

Equine breeders refer to the offspring of a male zebra and female donkey as a zonkey. That of a male donkey and a female zebra is called a zeedonk.
