We are happier than 45 other states...don't worry, be happy!
We are happier than 45 other states...don't worry, be happy!
National Journal

Snowbound till April or not, we're a happy bunch.  This made me feel good about where I live - truly!  If you want more information on why each state's GRP (Gross Regional Product) seemed to have a correlation in our happiness quotient, you'll have to visit this site to find out why - I don't quite get that point!

I feel very good about the school my children attend, the opportunities for job seekers, the stability of the housing market and the availability of arts, culture and nature/outdoors activities here in the Twin Cities.  I give job-seeker workshops often and love to reassure my audience this is a good place to be if you are in the market for a job...no matter what the general economy is experiencing.

Why?

Minnesota produces many standard goods that have little or no correlation to the stock market or job market for that matter - we produce and have people all over the world ready to buy.

So, congrads for being a Minnesotan!  Makes it (almost) worth sticking around till April.
