Want to multitask this weekend?  Do you want to avoid the crowds at the mall, do some Christmas shopping, and spend time with your little ones while simultaneously supporting a great organization?

Consider taking your kids to a holiday craft fair.  This weekend, the Cypress Creek FFA is hosting its annual Cougar Christmas Market at Hwy 290 at Telge.  This event usually has plenty of great vendors of unique, handmade holiday decorations, clothing, jewelry, candles, and all of those items that you never knew existed until you saw them at the craft fair.  A silent auction and raffle help to add some suspense to your day.  They also have entertainment and treats for the children to enjoy.

Last year, Santa made an appearance, and his elves were available to help with pictures.  We found some great bargains on holiday yard decorations, tree ornaments, jewelry, and gifts.  A craft fair is the perfect place to find a unique gift for that hard-to-shop-for person on your list.

Also available this Saturday is the 24th Annual Snowfest Festival in Missouri City.  The festival takes place at the Missouri City Civic Center from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm and also has entertainment for the children.

Check in soon for the next homemade holiday treat idea for coworkers and teachers.
