Lose The Training Wheels

Is Coming to West Hartford
August 3 - 7, 2009
Dr. Richard Klein and his wife Marjorie Klein have developed an innovative way to teach children with special
needs how to ride bikes and literally Lose the Training Wheels. Through the use of unique adapted bikes and
1:1 assistance, children can be well on their way to mastering this fun childhood activity.
AGES
8 - 18
LOCATION
Hall High School Gymnasium
975 North Main Street, West Hartford
TIMES
Families register for one session and camper attends the program at that same
time slot for five consecutive days. Space is limited to 8 campers per session.
Session I: 8:00 am - 9:15 am Session IV: 1:15 pm - 2:30 pm
Session II: 9:30 am - 10:45 am Session V: 2:45 pm - 4:00 pm
Session III: 11:00 am - 12:15 pm
COST

Kiwanis Sponsorship -$375 Kiwanis Sponsorship -$325
Cost to residents $125* Cost to Nonresidents $175*
(registration begins May 1st) (registration begins May 15th)
*Scholarships may be available for persons meeting income requirements.
All participants will receive a complimentary water bottle and t-shirt.
