Depending on their level of ability, children with disabilities will be able to do the following crafts. Remember to always have patience and encourage children to do as much as they can on their own. There is a tremendous amount of satisfaction that comes with being able to complete tasks on your own - always keep that in mind.

  Cotton Ball Snowman:

Materials:
Blue, black, and orange construction paper
Glue
Scissors
Cotton Balls

Draw an outline of a snowman on the blue paper.  Have child glue cotton balls inside the outline.  Use black paper to cut out eye, mouth, button and hat shapes.  Cut a triangle shape for the nose out of the orange paper.
Have child glue on the hat, mouth, eyes, buttons and nose.

Handprint and Footprint Rudolf

Materials:
Light and dark brown construction paper
Glue
Scissors
Red and black paints, markers, or crayons

Trace child’s hands onto light brown paper.  Then trace one foot onto the dark brown paper.  Cut these out.  Assemble Rudolf by gluing antlers (hand cutouts) to his head (foot cutout).  Let child make his face but using the red for his nose and black for eyes and mouth.
