It is that time of year again, when guests line the streets for the filming of the Walt Disney World Christmas Parade. The parade is filmed yearly the first weekend of December at the Magic Kingdom Park and the route includes Mainstreet U.S.A. to the front of Cinderella's Castle.
This year the parade will be filmed over the course of three days. Performances will be filmed on Dec. 3 and 4 and the parade on Dec. 5. The deadline to be a part of the audience is not closed. However, if you are at the Magic Kingdom on those days you may be able to see parts of the show during filming.
Downside to all of this is that it is a TV production and there will be retakes and run-throughs. This will not be a typical concert or parade as the same performance or float can be filmed multiple times in order to get the perfect shot. When traveling around Magic Kingdom you will be rerouted to get from one side to another.
Celebrity guests and performers have not yet been announced. Check back for updates.
The Walt Disney World Christmas Parade airs on ABC Christmas Day.
