Many of the theme parks at Walt Disney World transformed overnight this past weekend. It is like going to bed and it being Halloween then waking up Christmas morning. There is not better feeling than that. Especially if you plan your vacation around the transformation Disney makes from one season to another, it is like night and day, but something you have to experience.

Some of the transformations, which occurred this weekend, include:
· A Christmas Carol photo opportunity at Disney's Hollywood Studios - guests will have a change to take their photo with a "stick your head through the wall" type of background themed after the latest movie "A Christmas Carol." This photo op is located near the exit to the Backlot Tour.
· Magic Kingdom is all decked out with boughs of holly - fa la la la la - and is definitely in the Christmas spirit. There are nutcrackers, wreaths, lights, candy canes and other holiday decor as far as the eye can see.
· The stage at Tomorrowland where Stitch's SuperSonic Celebration used to be is now transformed into for the new holiday show "A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas."

The Christmas tree is now in place in front of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. What a great place to have a holiday card photo taken!

Cinderella's Holiday Wish has taken to the stage in the Magic Kingdom Park on Tuesday. This is the same show which debuted at Disney World in 2007 and can be seen in front of Cinderella's Castle. Cinderella's Holiday Wish will be performed at 6:30 p.m. daily through Dec. 31, 2009.

Via Twitter, Disney Parks has confirmed the cancellation of Epcot's Lights of Winter. The message posted on Twitter Wednesday stated "Note: The Lights of Winter at Epcot has been enjoyed for years. But tech to operate lights is obsolete, prompting us to retire the lights." Epcot's Lights of Winter was located at the entry way from Future World into the World Showcase. The 30,000 lights on the arches were synced with the Fountains of Nations and danced with the music.

Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights will not be shown on Nov. 22, 2009.
