New Mexico Ballet Company Guild Costume and Used Dance Clothing Sale
When: October 11, 2009 at 3pm
Where: Corner of Morris and Comanche
NMBC is selling gently used costumes and dance clothing (including Halloween costumes). All proceeds go to support the company.
Thrill the World Thriller Dance Rehearsal
When: October 11 and 17, 2-4pm

Yjastros, The American Flamenco Repertory Company

Halloween Yoga Meets Dance Event

Soothing Yoga stretches and dance meet fabulous world rythms in this unique class. Dancers and non-dancers alike of all ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities are welcome!
12th Annual Halloween Balkan Bash
When: October 25, 7:15-10:30pm
Where: Winning Coffee Co., 111 Harvard SE
Balkan dance band Goddess of Arno and dance veteran Patsy Gregory present a night of family fun. A crash course in the dancing begins at 7:15. Halloween costumes are welcomed and encouraged. Admission is $5 at the door and children under 12 are free.

Dancer/choreographer Melanie Demers and composer/multidisciplinary Jacques Poulin-Denis created this work of performance art about viewing the world from different perspectives. This is a part of the North 4th Arts Center's annual Out of the Ordinary Festival.
