CyberLink
CyberLink service is allows remote access
of your digital media while saving enrgy
(cyberlink.vom)

CyberLink Corp., ACER Corp., and Intel are joining efforts in demonstrating an eco-friendly desktop computer. The ACER Aspire M5700 with Remote Wake Technology and CyberLink Live Premium offering “off-the-shelf” energy-efficient technologies was introduced at the 2009 CES in Las Vegas.

The solution consists of CyberLink Live, a remote media access web service that allows users to enjoy media stored in their ACER Aspire M5700 PCs from any web browser. With the Intel® Remote Wake Technology, CyberLink Live allows users to wake up their Aspire PC from sleep mode for secure remote access of their digital media, such as live TV shows, webcam feeds, videos, photos, music and documents, whilst keeping the PC at home energy efficient.

CyberLink will be displaying this solution with the latest version - CyberLink Live 3 which enables remote media access from Windows Mobile smart phones as well as from multiple DLNA-compliant devices in the home network. This solution not only allows users to access media from their home PC, but as well from all DLNA-compliant devices in the home network—such as media servers, NAS, PVRs and TVs.

CyberLink Live 3 totally realizes the world of ubiquitous connectivity. We are happy to showcase DLNA-enabled remote media access yet allowing users to keep their computers in energy-saving mode while they are away from home

said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink Corp.
