September and October bring excessive heat, humidity and storms to Key West, so it's a great time to get off "the rock." That can only mean one thing, ROAD TRIP, and my focus this year is going to be rum. Over the next week, I'm making a swing through several mid-Atlantic states to research rum bars, a micro-distillery and even a few beaches to discover how accessible good cane spirits are in that part of the country.
