NEWSFLASH! Moses and Aaron appeared before Pharaoh again today and threatened to turn the water of our blessed Nile River to blood. Not impressed by the threat, Pharaoh continued to harden his heart and Moses and Aaron lifted the rod and smote the waters in the sight of Pharaoh and his court. The river turned to blood; the fish in the river died; and all of Egypt along the river could not drink the water, for there was blood in the water throughout the land of Egypt. But once again Pharaoh called the magicians of Egypt who were able to do the same with their enchantments, and Pharaoh hardened his heart, just as God had said! (Exodus 7:19-22)
