Last night I fulfilled a dream. I stood on stage at a concert with 30,000 screaming fans waving their arms towards me. The experience was unbelievable, the energy and sense of passion was inspiring and in many ways spiritual in nature.
So, how did I get on stage at a concert I hear you ask? Well, that my friends is a good question. First of all that was not the only thing I did for the first time last night, as the concert was the biggest rave in North America and unbeleivably I had never been to a rave Electricdaisy
Anyway, I somehow got a backstage pass from a friend, However, the backstage pass did not give me the right to get on stage and there was security everywhere. Security however was not enough to stop this persistent Englishman fulfill a dream. At one stage there was a security shift and I went to the back and climbed up behind the speakers. Once I was on the stage they assumed that I was allowed up there and I was there for about 1 hour watching the people swaying to the dance and trance music.
It was an absolutely amazing experience and one that I will never forget and hopefully will be able to do again, this time following the rules...
