My darling brother and I now...
Today I’m focusing on what you can do for one of the greatest resources for children in Denver – The Children’s Hospital. I love Children’s because of all that they do for the little ones all over the state, but I especially love it because they took such good care of my brother when he had major surgery as a baby.

The three links below are for three different kinds of support - please check them all out and give what you can!

The Kempe Giving Card is a great way to help an abused and neglected child. It works just like any other gift card - you buy the card and put a value on it. The card will be sent to the person you have designated along with your name and the gift amount. The person can then get on the Kempe Center website and choose what program they’d like to support with their card.

This is a great branch of the Children’s Hospital and they ALWAYS need your help!

This is a great way for your kids to send something sweet to the kids at Children’s. There are a variety of cards to choose from, and you can personalize the message inside. Then volunteers print them out and give them to the kids. Do one or do 20 – it’s a way to cheer up someone without spending a penny.

This link will take you to a wish list of things that are needed at the hospital. Have your kids pick out a toy or a stuffed animal from the list and send it to the hospital. Donations like these make it possible for little patients to choose a gift after a procedure or to celebrate an event like a birthday, holiday, or the end of treatment.
