The Ann Arbor Student Building Industry program's 39th home is on the market
The 2008-09 student-built home was constructed at 2377 Earl Shaffer Court in Ann Arbor. The Charles Reinhart Company and Realtor Pat Durston were selected by the prorgram as broker for the sale of the educational program's newest project. Builder Steve Lucchesi managed construction of the home.
Teachers guided the 29 participating students through the project. The home was intended as an efficient "not so big" home, at 2,300 square feet and incorporating several energy- and water-efficient features.
Durston and the Reinhart Company conduct the marketing and sale of the home on behalf of the program, waiving the customary fees for their services as a contribution to the project. Proceeds from the sale will provide scholarships for students.
