Free Roller Derby Bout in San Jose

The Silicon Valley Roller Girls will be hosting the third installment of their free outdoor exhibition bouts this Sunday July 19th in San Jose.
Two previous exhibition bouts were played earlier this summer. In May, Team Jock trounced Team Geek with a score of 84 - 23. For the June bout, Team Stripes handily defeated Team Stars with a 79 - 50 score.
This time around the SVRG team will be joined by visiting skaters from the San Francisco based B.ay A.rea D.erby Girls.
The girls will be playing each other at the Roosevelt Hockey Rink at 901 E. Santa Clara Street. The bout begins at 5 pm.
Spectators are encouraged to bring water, sunscreen, and snacks as it's sure to be a hot day. There will be some shaded bleacher seating but the audience is welcome to bring their own lawn chairs as well.
